"My story begins in Puerto Rico, where I spent ten years as an English professor. With a Polish-American father and Puerto Rican mother, I've always lived between cultures and languages. English was my passion.
In 2000, I moved to the United States with dreams of continuing my teaching career. But when the university wouldn't offer full-time benefits and I wanted to start a family, I pivoted into HR.
As a professor, you love people. In HR, you need to love people too. Looking back, the transition made perfect sense for someone passionate about helping others grow and develop their potential. After years in various HR roles and business development, I was ready for my next chapter. The foundation was set for something bigger."
“SAP called in 2021, and what happened next still gives me goosebumps. The interviewer who was based in the Philippines asked if we could conduct the interview in Spanish. I was shocked – I'd been speaking English professionally for so long that I asked, 'Are you sure?'
For the first time in years, I was using both languages professionally, discussing my passion for people, culture, and HR. When I get goosebumps during an interview, something special is happening. I got the job.
SAP hired me full-time to recruit interns and young professionals for Mexico. Suddenly, I was using my English professor skills, Spanish fluency, and people expertise all at once. It was a dream come true, connecting talented individuals with life-changing opportunities. The transition from early talent to technical recruiting – or Talent Discovery, as we call it at SAP – felt natural, whether working with recent graduates or searching for "unicorns" in specialized technical roles in places like Monterrey. This role became the perfect blend of all my experiences.”

Beyond work, I'm a musician – a percussionist who brings instruments everywhere. I also volunteer with the Central Florida Employment Council, helping people with resumes.
